Travel to Brazilian Pantanal...
Pantanal - one of the largest on the planet marshland that stretches in a tectonic depression in the west of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul,
taking part of the territory of Paraguay in the same river basin. Floods in the wet summer season, the Pantanal is converted into a huge lake,
swamp and alternate with winter droughts forming dappled landscape does not dry out the floor overgrown swamps, lakes, subtle wandering river beds,
salt marshes, sand banks and grassy areas. The location is unique not only for its natural and climatic characteristics,
but also because of the huge diversity of flora and fauna - about 3,500 species of plants, 650 - birds, 80 - mammals and 50 species of reptiles,
including crocodiles 20 million. The Pantanal is a set of specially protected natural areas and the eponymous Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
