Re: News from the World

How one can be a huge fan of this everlying, racist pig is beyond me. I hope he gets impeached soon
and ends up in jail.

I never want to see his orange face again in my life.

Well Done Donald Trump

Supreme Court allows Trump travel ban to take full effect

As many of you might have speculated already. I am a massive fan of Donald Trump. Finally America have a President that takes no bullshit and is finally putting into practise of keeping his citizens a lot safer now from the threat of Islamic terrorists. Ultimately it won't stop ISIS and Islam but its a bold step in the right direction Thumb up

If only we here in the UK and our European cousins did likewise think of the number of attacks these past few years that could have been avoided.

The 2017 supermoon ...

On Sunday, stargazers, astronomers and curious sky-watchers will get a chance to witness the first and only supermoon of 2017.
In November 2016, the moon reached a distance closest to the Earth than ever seen since 1948, producing a supersized supermoon.
However, on Sunday night, the moon will still shine 16% brighter and appear 7% larger than its usual size.

Photo: Brightest supermoon since 1948.

This supermoon will be the first in the series of three consecutive full moon supermoons, the next two to occur in January.
While it has been a year since a visible supermoon last lit up the sky, everyone in the world has a chance to marvel at this upcoming full
moon. Most astronomers suggest watching the supermoon right after sunset and into moonrise, and minutes before the next sunrise as well.

World's first human head transplant a success, controversial scientist claims.

The world's first human head transplant has allegedly been performed on a corpse in an 18 hour operation which successfully
connected the spine, nerves and blood vessels of two people. The operation was carried out by a team led by Dr Xiaoping
Ren of Harbin Medical University, China, who last year successfully grafted a head onto the body of a monkey.

Italian Professor Sergio Canavero, Director of the Turin Advanced Neuromodulation Group, who has been
working with the team, said they would 'imminently' move onto a living human who was paralysed from the neck down.
He told The Telegraph that electrical stimulation of the nerves proved the operation on the corpse had been successful,
and that the two people had been completely attached. [hidden link - please register]

15,000 scientists in 184 countries warn about negative global environmental trends ...

Human well-being will be severely jeopardized by negative trends in some types of environmental harm, such as a changing climate,
deforestation, loss of access to fresh water, species extinctions and human population growth, issue scientists warn in a international
journal "BioScience" of November 13.

[hidden image - please register]

The warning came with steps that can be taken to reverse negative trends, but the authors suggested that it may take a groundswell
of public pressure to convince political leaders to take the right corrective actions. Global trends have worsened since 1992,
the authors wrote, when more than 1,700 scientists—including a majority of the living Nobel laureates at the time—signed a
"World Scientists' Warning to Humanity" published by the Union of Concerned Scientists. In the last 25 years, trends in nine
environmental issues suggest that humanity is continuing to risk its future.

[hidden image - please register]

Among the negative 25-year global trends noted in the article are:
* A 26 percent reduction in the amount of fresh water available per capita
* A drop in the harvest of wild-caught fish, despite an increase in fishing effort
* A 75 percent increase in the number of ocean dead zones
* A loss of nearly 300 million acres of forestland, much of it converted for agricultural uses
* Continuing significant increases in global carbon emissions and average temperatures
* A 35 percent rise in human population
* A collective 29 percent reduction in the numbers of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds and fish

26 killed in church attack in Texas' deadliest mass shooting ...

A man dressed in black tactical-style gear and armed with an assault rifle opened fire inside a church in a small South Texas
community on Sunday, killing 26 people and wounding about 20 others in what the governor called the deadliest mass
shooting in the state's history. The dead ranged in age from 5 to 72 years old.

[hidden image - please register]

Authorities didn't identify the attacker during a news conference Sunday night, but two other officials — one a U.S. official
and one in law enforcement — identified him as Devin Kelley. They spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of
anonymity because they weren't authorized to discuss the investigation. [hidden link - please register]

Re: News from the World

You know the great thing about a forum is that whenever a big news story happens then a massive debate on the issue then surely happens, right, well not on this one it doesn't. Believe you me, I post on other forum's besides this and this one isn't the norm. My only motivation these days to log in is because I happen to be running a Predictor League Thread, if it wasn't for that then my time spent logged into this one would be even more brief.

I will say on this attack just like I said on all the other Islamic ones. Fuck you Isis, fuck you Islam and fuck you Mohammed - Islam is an idea, not a race before anyone here decides to pitch up and get all self righteous by way of virtue signalling. Once again the people have stated that they will carry on with life as normal and won't let this latest attack effect them.

How fucking commendable on them to do so, bearing in mind that the ones that say this aren't the ones that were directly effected such as losing loved ones in the attack or infact being the ones that are dead because the dead won't be able to carry with life as normal because they are fucking dead ofcourse!

Let's not blame Islam, I mean, god forbid we offend a certain race of people who just so happen to follow in this evil cult. Close all mosques, burn them to the ground as far as I am concerned and make Islam illegal and those who are not happy with this then kindly fuck off back to the Islamic shithole of a country where you came from and continue to praise Allah but whatever you do don't you dare even consider diverting to another religion when you go back as anything other than an Islamic faith will result in you being sentenced to death. That is all for now Cool

[hidden image - please register]

PS - If I have offended anybody then I don't give a flying fuck, I value human life over offending a fucked up belief system any time and any place.

Manhattan Terror Attack Kills 8 and Injures 11 ...

A driver plowed a pickup truck down a crowded bike path along the Hudson River in Manhattan on Tuesday, killing eight
people and injuring 11 before being shot by a police officer.

[hidden image - please register]

The rampage ended when the motorist — whom the police identified as Sayfullo Saipov, 29 — smashed into a school bus,
jumped out of his truck and ran up and down the highway waving a pellet gun and paintball gun and shouting “Allahu akbar,”
Arabic for “God is great,” before he was shot in the abdomen by the officer. He remained in critical condition on Tuesday evening.

[hidden image - please register]

Mayor Bill de Blasio declared the rampage a terrorist attack and federal law enforcement authorities were leading the investigation.
Investigators discovered handwritten notes in Arabic near the truck that indicated allegiance to the Islamic State, two law enforcement officials said.

[hidden image - please register]

But investigators had not uncovered evidence of any direct or enabling ties between Mr. Saipov and ISIS and were treating
the episode as a case of an “inspired” attacker, two counterterrorism officials said.

[hidden image - please register]

Mr. de Blasio said at a news conference, “Based on information we have at this moment, this was an act of terror, and
a particularly cowardly act of terror aimed at innocent civilians.” [hidden link - please register]

Elsewhere Irish comedian Sean Hughes sadly passed away today. At the height of his career he had his own show on Channel 4 in the 1990's which I used to watch on a regular basis. In recent years not too much has been seen of him. Like many people who have hit the giddy heights of being at the top the pressure become insurmountable and eventually the demon drink took a hold of him and he ended up as a washed up has been and although he still toured as a stand alone comedian it was still a far cry from his glory era.
