Re: News from the World

A suspected member of the Islamic State (IS) group has killed 10 people, at least eight of them German tourists, in a suicide bomb attack in the Turkish city of Istanbul, officials say.
They say the Syrian national carried out the attack in the Sultanahmet district, near the famous Blue Mosque.
Fifteen people were wounded, many of them also German.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey was the "top target for all terrorist groups in the region".
His country, he added, was "fighting against all of them equally".

Yes Luxor and I should know better than anybody as I just so happen to be a Dundee United supporter Blush the team which Dave Narey played for at the time he scored that magnificent goal against Brazil. However unless somebody is infamous then I don't tend to talk ill of the dearly departed. It was a daft comment to be coming out with at the time but I'm sure Jimmy Hill in later years probably regretted that sweeping statement even though he never ever did admit it! Blush

Re: News from the World

ISIS militants described the two people who stormed a party in Southern California and shot 14 people to death as "supporters" of the terror group.
The terrorists made the declaration on their official radio station Saturday, days after the Wednesday attack that also left 21 injured.
Tashfeen Malik and her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, burst into a holiday party for the environmental health department in San Bernardino.
After spraying Farook's co-workers with bullets, they took police on a manhunt that paralyzed the city. The couple died in a shootout with authorities the same day.
"We pray to God to accept them as martyrs," al-Bayan Radio reported.
