Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

Given the large amount of legitimate use of the MU site to host content, and that as subscribers we paid for such service, it does seem incredulous that the US can take such action unilaterally without the involvement or agreement of other regulatory bodies.

This board and many others will be hit severely. Certainly all my content for the last 2 years was hosted on MU.

Annoyed doesn't come close to how I feel - it's cost me money to have any account, money to upload it, and I've now just lost access to over 2,500 files.

To whom in the FBI should we be sending our claim for compensation ?

The main problem, for some days till the day before yesterday, was that after the uploading process, files weren't listed in the Megaupload File Manager page.

OK, actually I just copied the links from the upload page, so I didn't notice that problem yet.

I've had these problems last weekend with a second upload started while the first wasn't complete.
But it seems to be a problem with slow connections because I've uploaded the last days 6-7 Gb with a fast connection and had no problems (except the Firefox problem of course).

E-Mails from MU? Never got one except of the registration confirmation.
But I still have problems with upload, today from my first batch in the middle of the 3rd of 5 videos the upload stopped, and currently it seems again one upload has failed, the second file started before the first finished and the first file remains at the same percentage for 2 hours, I'll see if it continues after the other files have been uploaded but I doubt.
