Re: Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

I'm a Mac user, and despite almost no viruses on Macs, as a precaution, I installed Avast.
He gave me so many problems, I had to uninstall Avast.
Since then everything works perfectly.

Or random coincidence or 1fichier.com really infected virus.

I tried this ipconfig /flushdns and I tried to cleaning the cache in Firefox, but not better.
In diffferient browser the result is same.

I think the problem is the AVAST( but I am not sure ).

Thanks for your replies Smile

Re: Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

I'm currently having problems uploading files to 1fichier Cry but not what most would expect and is a strange one, i use neembuu uploader on my desktop and i've found that if uploading more than 5 files then only the first 5 show in my main 1fichier account Blush if i upload say 12 files i get all the codes but, no file showing to move to the correct folder Angry and yep its not the first time but yesterday i was moving files from my RS account to change links on the forum and nope only first 5 showing.

I posted an Hannah Martin vid yesterday and have now only just got a file showing on my account after uploading 3 times Thumb downThumb downThumb downThumb down this is more for those using 1fichier asking as this happened to them and also to let you know there seems to be a bug when uploading from your desktop Confused

Re: Megaupload & Other File Host Problems

Now I have an answer from depositfiles, but not to 3/4 of my questions Angry
Besides there's hardly a way for me to prove my copyright and there's no way to avoid future take down notices I can spare the work taking actions as, so I'll preliminary stay with 1fichier:

"Dear User,

Sadly your Content have been removed under procedure prescribed under DMCA. Therefore you have to prove the legality of such Content also under DMCA.

The procedure is as follows:

1. DepositFiles has received DMCA notice and it has been considered legally substantial to suspect copyright infringement;

2. You object the allegation of copyright infringement by filing a DMCA counter-notice for each separate URL;

3. DepositFiles passes your counter-notice (with all your personal details which may be used during litigation) to the initial sender of DMCA notice (i.e. copyright owner);

4. If within two weeks the alleged copyright owner does not initiate lawsuit against you – DMCA revokes the copyright infringement accusation regarding the particular URL.

The DMCA counter-notice should include the following:

i. Your name, address, and phone number;

ii. Detailed description of the Content and its URL before it was removed;

iii. Detailed description of your legal rights to Content which voids initial DMCA notice. It may be as follows:

a. You are the author or co-author;

b. The copyright owner or any other authorized party has granted you sufficient rights to Content;

c. The Content is not covered by copyright; and/or

d. Your use of the copyrighted work is a fair use.

iv. A statement under penalty of perjury that the Conent was removed by mistake or misidentification;

v. Your consent to either:

a. If you are in the U.S. – the jurisdiction of a federal court in the district where you live; or

b. If you are not in the U.S. – your consent to the jurisdiction of a United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (however, due to certain blanks in law, you may choose a federal court in the district of your preference).

vi. Your consent to accept service of process from the party who submitted the takedown notice.

vii. Your TRUE NAME (as of natural person) to be considered as the digital signature."

But which filehoster are safe nowadays? Swiss hoster like uploaded.to I think, Google Drive and Mega of course.
I doubt.
Every filehost supporting DMCA notice will remove files on request of the copyright owner, so American companies will be no exception. Mega maybe, I don't know.
Original Text on uploaded.net: "Should you identify files, which contravene against our TOS, we ask you to report the links via eMail to abuse@uploaded.net. Illicit files will be immediately deleted upon notice and put on our file filter".
I'll wait for the reaction of depositfiles before posting new videos, until now I only lost a few files, but i want to avoid depositfiles to suspend my membership because of that, otherwise I'll again lose all of my files at once Angry

P.S. I only have a free account at depositfiles.

Now I have 2 files on the abuse list too. Thanks to Mr. Sofkov!AngryAngryAngry
But the files are still there on ul.to.Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin
I just reported to upload.to a crazy fake with the name "Mr. Sofkov" from Molvania who has no rights to do what he claims to be and what to do.

My opinion:
This forum (and etv has no forum!) and the up- and downloaders help to keep this channel alive, at least to a certain amount.
So why does this idio.. "Mr. Sofkov" begins a war with his customers?AngryAngryAngryEnvyEnvyEnvyThumb downThumb downThumb down
