Also worst of Italia-Brazil 0-0 (siege of the Brazil) after supplementary time in 1994?.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa - Discussion

Of course I remember, even though I was a child.
We defeated Argentina (1-0, Bettega) and lost from Holland (Bettega, Brandts, Haan, Zoff was always weak on shots from distance), Argentina went to final thanx to Marmelada Peruana (6-0).

In 1974 The Dutch were the favorites, they lost
In 1978 would The Dutch have beaten Argentina, they would have never left the country alive (remember it was a dictatorship then)
Now is their time, come monday the world will be Orange!!!Big Grin

The first one was injured for a long time and the second one isn't a striker.
Müller isn't the striker in the centre, maybe Kiesling gets a chance or there are rumors that the Banarians in Munich have 30 millions on the bench. Also there is a striker nowadays in Moscau who usually leaves the stadium during the break or we take Butt for the penalties.
But probably it's really the best to search someone in or from a foreign land. Smile

Just you, Jogi and Miro trusted in Klose. Everyone else thought this already four weeks ago and was wrong with that thought.
That team was last year as the U21-team even without striker good enough to win the european championship but it's without a second and younger striker not good enough to reach the final of the World-Cup. If we find in another country a good striker who is allowed to play for this team a great future will be possible.
