Short News :
Starting with news from the FIA : The FIA will impose a maximum time limit of four hours on Grands Prix as of 2012. It comes after this year’s Canadian Grand Prix took four hours and four minutes to complete due to heavy rain causing a lengthy suspension. The existing two-hour time limit on races that are not suspended will remain. The FIA has also confirmed new rules on driving standards. When defending a position, drivers will not be allowed to move back onto the racing line after moving off-line. This was a cause for debate following the exchange between Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton during the Italian Grand Prix this year. Drivers have also been told they can no longer leave the track without a justifiable reason. Some drivers have been cutting chicanes during practice and qualifying sessions to save time and/or fuel – such as Sebastian Vettel did in Korea and Schumacher in Abu Dhabi. During a race suspension, cars which are in the pits when a race is suspended will be allowed to re-join the cars on the grid in the position they were in. Teams will also be required to have their cars pass all FIA crash tests before they participate in pre-season testing. Former F1 driver Gerhard Berger is working with the FIA. The 52-year-old Austrian is Wednesday appointed by the World Motor Sport Council as the president of the Single Seater Commission. Sky announces team of presenters for there F1 broadcasting : Martin Brundle along with David Croft will do all the commentary of Formula 1 races for Sky Sports. Croft, who for the past six seasons, cared to do the radio commentary for the BBC , will also report next year on all free practices, he will be supported by Anthony Davidson . Natalie Pinkham and Ted Kravitz will be just like this year at the BBC bring the latest news from the paddock and pit lane. Jake Humphrey, David Coulthard, Lee McKenzie remain with the BBC. Ben Edwards, who in the past with John Watson and did for Eurosport's the comments , is the leading candidate to take over Brundle's role there. The World Motor Sport Council approved on Wednesday the FIA Formula 1 calendar for 2012 . It contains no changes from the previous version. The U.S. Grand Prix scheduled for November next year on a new track in the Texas city of Austin just go through. The FIA also confirmed with the approval of the calendar again in 2012 that a Bahrain Grand Prix is held, although it is still not quiet in the oil state. Furthermore, even Toro Rosso consider to do the steps out of the FOTA. Peter Gethin deceased at age 71. The former BRM, McLaren and Lola driver knew in his career to win a race, the Grand Prix of Italy in 1971. Congratulations to the winner of this years " ROC " Sebastien Ogier .The young French rally driver was in the "best of three 'final two heats too strong for Tom Kristensen and so he is the Champion of Race Of Champions 2011 .
( dammed it was soo close between Schumi and Tom Kristensen in the 1/2 finale  ,otherwise i/we would have seen Schumi against this youngster ).So this was the last motorsport event of this year 2011 ,the curtain is down now for a couple of weeks during this winter period ,this means whatever kind of race that we will see now on Tv is just a replay or some highlights of this years different kind of motorsport groups  .Like i wrote before this topic will not rest , i will try to keep it alive with some news of Formula1 during these silent weeks , ofcourse everyone who has some info or so is also welcome to post it here   . As soon as the FIA has the complete list of Drivers who will drive in witch Team i will post it here ,also with the new calender for next year races when it's official .For now i hope that all motorsport friends in general have enjoyd this years races of all the different kind of motorsports categories there are ( the ones you like/prefer),and i hope that you/we will do it again next year ! One important thing  ... let us not forget the people/drivers of the different kind of motorsportcategories (MotoGP,etc)who have lossed there lifes this year when they did the thing that they liked to do ..and that was racing !!!!!! . No matter how many safety rules and safety precautions(?) ,safety regulations ,etc ,have bin taken/done all over the years to keep it safe , Motorsport is and will always be dangerous ..let us not forget that !!!!! ...... Team Germany ( Vettel + Schumacher ) has won for the fifth consecutive year the Nations Cup in the Race of Champions . Team Germany defeated Team Nordic( Tom Kristensen & Juho Hanninen ) in the final !The Race of Champions will continue this afternoon at 14.00u-17.00u ! You/We can watch it " live " on MotorsTV and SAT1 or on the webstream for free And like i did on the 1st day of this event ,i will do it also today ..this means ..a bag of chips, a bag of nuts and a cold drink and lay back in the seat and just enjoy  Kind Regards Shaky-Schumi |

The Williams Team has confirmed that Pastor Maldonado will continue to drive for Williams in 2012 ! Valtteri Bottas was just confirmed as test and reserve driver for Williams in 2012. Ferrari and Red Bull have confirmed today that they have stept out of the FOTA ( Formula One Teams' Association ) , this means that the FOTA have only nine Teams of the twelve . The start list for the International Challenge of Go-Kart Champions, the annual kart racing Felipe Massa has been distributed. There are 29 top drivers this weekend from different racing classes at the start in Florianopolis. The Toro Rosso team has two new people attracted to the technical department.Jon Tomlinson and Luca Furbatto join the team .Tomlinson is in Bicester to work for the wind tunnel,Furbatto joins the design team at Faenza.Tomlinson held the role of head of aerodynamics at Williams and Furbatto comes over from McLaren, where he was under contract since 2000.As of April 1, 2012 Furbatto takes on the role of chief designer Ben Butler, who returns to Red Bull Technology. ...the complete Ferrari Team congratulate Felipe Massa's 100 Grand Prix at the Ferrari box ..and also ...his old Team Mate and best friend Michael Schumacher and his fellow country man Rubens Barrichello , Ferrari gave Felipe a cake and a signed engine cover ( ...euh ..Felipe ..if you don't want the engine cover ..i will always except it ..no problem ...i have room in my house ..and if it's nessecary i will make room )[hidden image - please register] Short News : Marussia Virgin Racing has signed a contract with Charles Pic to be there driver for next season ...this means exit Jerome D'Ambrosio ( Belgium )  It was yesterday the 300th and last race for Renault ,next year they will take over the identity of Lotus ! Virgin also made their last appearance before transforming into Marussia in time for next season. Patrick Head ( 65 year ) of the Williams Team will say goodby at the end of the year as engineering director , from next year on he will concentrate on the bussines activities of the Team ! Head founded the Williams team in 1977 with Frank Williams. The Briton was from 1977 to 2004 Technical Director of the racing stable from Grove. congratulations to the winners of the forum.
and my personal consideration about this season : very impressive job by Button, the one who really demonstrated his skills in tactics. Good job by Vettel but always i have the doubt simple because his car was indeed the best with no mercy for the others. I have some disappointments about Massa, Alonso and the Ferrari's team, i think that something more could have been done... btw i wait the coming of kubica or Hamilton to really begin to enjoy. I don't like what's goin on in Ferrari in these last years. well let's hope for a better 2012 championship with better rules and nice GP. May be next year i will re-join this nice funny game. I lost my crown from last years game to a well diserved winner ....but watch out wolf1 ....i will be fighting again for it next season
