no comments about the others. Confused

but a comment about the HSV (with a slightly green-white touch Tongue):

that match was a great chance to sit on the couch, drink some beer and have a lot of fun because of the Barca B or C or youth team making the HSV wet in its own stadium. but I must confess even with several years experience in watching the Werder "defence" (to quote Wiese: ...immer alle nach vorne gerannt.) I was nearly shocked about the Hamburger always 1 meter away and 1 step too late defence. Confused
selling Töre to russia and Rajkovic to Universum Boxing won't bring enough money to improve the defence.

Yes what a ridiculous event ! Thumb down And for sure a poor HSV - maybe the complete next season as well to finally go down in 2. Bundesliga ! ? Thumb down Angry

Another team from Spain would rather pay more than 1 million so they do not have to visit the small green-white village near the North Sea! Big Grin

If I think about who has come and who is gone in the green-white village this summer - so I fear it is only a battle of 17th and 18th betreen the old traditional north teams ! So....ok green-white go for 17th ! Tongue Big Grin

Is Edu still in Schalke? I thought he was given to another Club again.

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

It seems bayern Münich have interset in „Pitbull“ Nigel de Jong of Man.City.
Maybe just rumours, but I think it is not a bad idea.
He can fill the gap Mark v. Bommel has left years ago.
Playing beside schweinsteiger and beat everyone his ass who comes close to him... Big GrinBig Grin

not to forget

HSV - Barca 1-2

it was the first barca match with the new coach Vilanova and he got his first lesson in soccer tactics during the second half when he needed a new player because of an injured player but sadly he has changed the complete team after the first half.
so he needed the permission from HSV and the referee that one of his players was allowed to enter the field a second time in one match.
HSV has paid 1.2 millions for the Barca stars including Messi and some unknown spanish players like Xavi or Iniesta.

the team was: Pinto (71. Olazabal) - Alves (46. Sanchez), Olazabal (46. Patri), Bartra (46. Lobato), Deulofeu (46. Ramán) - Sergi Roberto, Mascherano (46. Planas), A. Sánchez (46. Rafinha), Afellay (46. Gómez), Adriano (46. Balliu), Espinosa (46. Muniesta)

for not Barca fans it looks like Alves, Mascherano, Sanchez, Afellay & 17x WTF.

the match was because of the 125th birthday of the HSV (Hallenhalma in Stellingen Verein) and was played for 57.000 paying visitors in the Stadion an der Müllverbrennungsanlage.

And the big glorious HSV was not able to win against their second Team and with only 10 brave Young Players.....

But the biggest no go was again german Mod. Tom Bartels. He gives the fault to Barca for the bad game. I ask you, hasn´t the HSV not the bigger fault because they lost.

Have you seen it?

It was live at Sport1. It was a normal friendly match but Milan was even without the Stars and Ibra, better.

I hope Schalke can find a player who is strong like Raul bzut it will be difficult for my friends in Schalke.

Take care

Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Scorers: Alaba, Cannavaro, Pandev, Shaqiri, Insigne.
FC Bayern was full of substitutes.

Brazil Olympic defeated 2-0 Great Britain representative: Sandro (from Spurs) and Neymar (PK) scorers.
Stuart Pearce ha to working a lot to set up his defense.
It's a pity anyway scottish players didn't join the team.
