Barcelona Dealt Neymar and Jordi Alba Double Injury Blow.
Barcelona have been dealt a double injury blow following Wednesday's Copa del Rey final defeat to Real Madrid as Brazilian star Neymar and left-back Jordi Alba have both been ruled out of action for around a month. Neymar completed the 90 minutes of the 1-2 cup final loss, but picked up a metatarsal injury that will leave him sidelined for at least four weeks. Spanish full-back Jordi Alba was taken off at half-time on Wednesday night because of a hamstring injury. He's expected to be out for 3-4 weeks. [hidden image - please register] |

Ilkay Gundogan signs contract extension with Borussia Dortmund.
Ilkay Gundogan has committed his future to Borussia Dortmund by signing a new contract. The highly-rated Germany midfielder, a reported target for clubs across Europe, including Manchester United, has signed a deal to keep him at the Bundesliga club until 2016. The 23-year-old has barely featured this season because of a back problem. Gundogan told the club's official website: "I am very grateful that my club gives me the opportunity to continue to be part of this special team and this very special environment. I will do everything to be able to help my team-mates again soon and am very optimistic heading into the coming weeks and months." [hidden image - please register] ![]() ![]()
