FIFA lift Barcelona transfer ban while sanction is appealed.
World football's governing body FIFA have temporarily lifted FC Barcelona's ban on transferring players. The Catalan club will be able to make signings this summer while they appeal the sanction. FIFA announced the suspension in a statement on Wednesday, citing the complexity of the case and the short timeframe before the next player transfer window opens on July 1. |

Kevin Mirallas: Groin injury keeps Everton forward out of run-in.
Everton forward Kevin Mirallas will miss the rest of the season after suffering a groin injury against Manchester United on Sunday. The Belgium international scored in the 2-0 win at Goodison Park before limping off towards the end. Toffees boss Roberto Martinez said: "It's a real disappointment and shame.
