La Liga gained an additional Champions League place as a result of Spain gaining one of the two European Performance Spots (EPS) awarded to the two associations with the highest UEFA coefficient points in 2024-25.
The 2024-25 Copa del Rey winner qualifies for the Europa League league stage. Since the cup winners (FC Barcelona) will qualify based on league position, the Europa League spot was passed to the seventh-placed team, and the Conference League spot was passed to the eighth-placed team.

The winners of the 2024-25 EFL Cup (Newcastle United FC) qualify for the Conference League play-off round. SInce they qualify for the Champions League via league position, the Conference League berth was passed to the highest-placed team not already qualified for European competition (Nottingham Forest FC).
Crystal Palace qualified for the Europa League league phase as the 2024-25 FA Cup winners.
