THE CHAMPIONSHIPS - WIMBLEDON 2015 DAY 12 :
Results Finals :

Ladies' Singles : Serena Williams (1) won her 21st Grand Slam tournament in career (6th in Wimbledon), defeating
Garbine Muguruza (20) 6-4, 6-4 after 1h 24'

The world' s N° 1 seemed a bit nervous in the beginning of the match and went down 2-0 and 0-30 on her serve, then she relaxed and, on 2-4,
she won 5 consecutive games, winning the first set and going 1-0 in the second; the Spanish (who was playing her first Grand Slam final in career), began to feel the pressure and Williams went in few minutes 5-1, but Muguruza reacted and broke twice Serena when she was serving for the match; the American, however, stayed cool and closed the match on 5-4, breaking the Spanish for the last time.
With this triumph, Williams is very close to make the Grand Slam (she only have to win the US Open, starting at the end of August), while Muguruza will reach her career high next Monday, at N° 9 WTA.
