2018 THE CHAMPIONSHIPS - WIMBLEDON - DAY 13 (LAST) :
Results Finals : Gentlemen' s Singles : Novak Djokovic (12) won his 69th ATP tournament in career (13th Grand Slam and fourth Wimbledon), defeating Kevin Anderson (8) 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (3) after 2h 19' After almost 11 hours spent on court in Quarter-final and Semifinal matches against Federer and Isner, Kevin Anderson seemed completely out of physical and mental energies in the first two sets of this final : in first set he was broken in first and fifth game, with Djokovic closing the set 6-2 after 29', and in second the South-African player lost his serve again in first and fifth game, with the Serbian closing the set with another 6-2 after saving a break-point after 43'; but in third set Anderson started to fight on every point and Djokovic had to save a total of 6 break-points (with 2 set-points on 4-5 and 3 on 5-6), before reaching the tie-break, in which Nole went 5-1, then 6-2 and closed the match 7-3, winning his fourth Wimbledon, while Anderson lost his second Grand Slam final.
