I have sent in an SOS (Save Our Show) and asked nicely for a hotter and bolder show for the last two hours to reduce complaints and sent in bolder show requests which I don't normally have to ask so directly for. Fingers crossed.

I think the opposite, i never did, but i agree with those sending bad reviews and complaints, it's the only way for a viewer to express his opinion, if u go to Opera and it sucks people whistles but actors have to go on is their job, if you go to stadium and your team sucks people whistles but players go on is their job, and so is for the girls, usually is not their fault, but writing bad reviews they also know that their efforts are ruined from camera work and direction, and managment knows that viewers don't want what they're giving (they still know it but they don't care at all) ,people at home can't always say "yes "or "will be better next time", can also say" tonight was really bad " .

The girls do seem to take the comments to heart and its usually not aimed at them, but they have to respond and deal with the crap, and it certainly does affect the show, and this isn't fair to the girls or the viewers. If a screen name or some way to tag each comment to the person making it was used, then as stated, the girls could see that maybe all the negative posts were from one or two, and they could address those few, Also, ETV could block them, something that should happen more often, in my opinion. Also, if the anonymity was removed in some way, then maybe some posts may be a bit more polite and less offensive. I can understand concerns about a persons account name being used, and I agree this may not be a good idea, but as Tazman has suggested, users could create their screen name in their profile, and that could be used. Just to add some accountability visibly. Yes, maybe the girls hear all sorts of things said on the phones, but to be sitting there with everyone able to see the criticism thrown at them, is a different matter and can be really cruel and unjustifiable sometimes. One member of this forum has already been identified with some of the negative and (in my mind) offensive messages, and to be fair, the messages were intended more aimed at the team than the girls, but the outcome is still the same. If you through mud at someone, there's no point saying its meant for someone else, its already made a mess on the person first hit by it. I'm hopeful that person will take this on board, he's usually fair with his comments I just hope tonight is not full of negativity, and that the stream can cope. I've asked ETV to allow logging in prior to the show, and this may reduce the pressure at the start of the show possibly. If anyone is watching and is not happy, please don't just message the girls complaining, its not necessarily their fault, message from your ETV accounts to the team, or use the FTA channel and send a message to the team there, please be fair to the girls and the rest of the viewers |

The fact is that nobody is anonymous at etv.
People are anonymous only for you, like every other viewers, and i find this absolutely right in respect of privacy. ETV have every way they like to stop this issue, respecting privacy of all "normal" senders too, but maybe (and this is my opinion only) they use this pretence to move the fault of a bad-show on others. |

They perfectly know all the alter egos and who sends which messages. |

15102004 wrote:And what is the difference if also YOU know the name of the senders?? It is just the Psychology of the perceived anonymity for some (not all) people. It is known as the “online disinhibition effect.” The theory is that the moment you shed your identity the usual constraints on your behaviour go, too. As it happens so much has been said on the matter, rather than ETV doing something about it quickly, that if you introduced a solution now, many people would be more likely to send in negative comments as an act of defiance! So little will actual improve! |

Prediction For Friday Wish For Free Show:
I fear the worst tonight, the signs are not looking good. We have one soft model in a bold show, one model borrowed from the TV show disrupting those viewers, cheaper exclusive show so Trolls can get in for less than a beer and if too many people buy the Black Friday discounted online show, the stream will fall over and the picture quality will be poor. |
