This live stream is an on going problem which started around November last year when the servers were down at the time of the wrestling final. It happens only at times of high demand i.e. Friday evenings. Daytime works fine. The reason I would suggest it clears as the night progresses is that all those trying to access it just give up and those who are on realise it's not worth staying on. Anyway, I've cancelled my subscription. I would complain but we all know that would be pointless.

Because I have a subscription, once I entered the premium page show, earlier, I've stayed logged in all the way through, I've had a couple of maybe 30seconds loss of feed, and maybe a handful of momentary freezes, but that's all looking at what you say " if anything i get 5 seconds feed and 30 sec hic up" this sounds similar to the issue I had last night with the premium show, I would get a frozen image, then a few minutes of spinning circle, then the frozen image, spinning circle, and so on. what is clear, is that there is an issue and its intermittent but for me, occurs mostly at the start of shows. |

I am not an expert but I don't think bandwidth is the problem. The first 15 min seem to be almost unreachable for me but the rest is running fine. now as i entered part 2 it is unreachable for me again. if anything i get 5 seconds feed and 30 sec hic up.
If bandwidth was the problem wouldn't there be problems all along the show and not just at the start? In fact The problems would be getting worse since more people join the show the longer it goes on. |

I get the issues at the start of most nightshows, the first 20-30minutes can be full of freezing and last nights premium show for the first 15mins was almost totally unavailable, with he web page just offering the spinning circle while the free show carried on without an issue. interesting to note that during the models meltdown, er I mean showdown, theres a 10imin period where both free and premium pages both have the same feed from the studio, and at one short point, the video quality in the premium page was awful but the free page was fine, so the conclusion is that the free stream gets the majority of the bandwidth from the studios, this make sense, since its probably needed for the partner channels. I think the only solution is for ETV to buy some more bandwidth, but I wont hold my breath! |

ETV knows the problem because it's the same problem since years now: bandwidth from provider/greed from etv-boss.
