A few more topical SMSs

Today's SMS that's Small Midday Sermon just in case you were wondering :-

Ok. This is past midday but nothing was pre-planned and I just react to the events that have un-folded.

Let me make this perfectly clear. This post, nor the one of last week, is intended as an anti-anyone. Everyone brings something different to the table. And that is the appeal of a good restaurant. Plenty of variety on the menu.

But I wish to pick up on some of the posts that were made a little earlier.

SMS No 1 - Swallow Makes Summer. There is absolutely no way that a few hours can set a trend for the future or prove that the immediate past was a sham. It takes a peculiar set of circumstances for that to happen. So, as ever, the saying will stay - 'One Swallow Will Not Make A Summer'

SMS No 2 - See More Sometimes. One of the greatest mysteries of the tv is the apparent inconsistency. The viewer can not understand why a model can be scorching one day yet appear to have had a day release from a convent the next. So last night some girls appeared to be in second gear while others were clearly in over-drive. Refuse the action one minute yet do it the next. The logic behind this is more simple than the acceptance of the reason.

SMS No 3 - Save My Service. The un-informed believe that past a certain hour anything is possible. Maybe it is. But equally there are probably viewers who make it their duty to complain. And as was said, one complaint too many and like the trip to Prague it will be a bridge too far and the journey makes a sad end. People on either side of the camera are taking risks. For those that do it is part of the drug of participation - let's see what is the after-effect of this fix. If it causes any real problems then most of those fall on those who are left to pick up the pieces of my indiscretion. I had my fun while it lasted.

SMS No 4 - Save My Sanity. To paraphrase an earlier contribution "No one knows why they work there. No one really knows why they leave. And no one really knows why they come back". I few months ago, I asked an ex-model just why she changed from being the warmer side of cold to being the hotter side of warm. Her answer was quite simple. "It was fun. I just did it for fun". And no sooner than she did it for 'fun' that she left. She had the intelligence to accept the reality check that there was a real world out there. That the persona in front of the camera was just a mask and she had the strength to remove the mask and see the real world. And even if she was recognised in public she equally had the strength to deny the past and just be who she really was. But others are not so fortunate. For them being in the public eye is nothing more than being on a drug. One that you simply cannot stop taking. Because if you stop taking it you fear what is beyond. And if you really looked in the mirror, and had the intelligence to realise the truth, you should fight the addiction. So any return is not a victory. It is the realisation of the defeat and the hope that there is another day when the war can be fought with a different result.

Re: A few more topical SMSs

Well when I joined this site a group of users usually joined the chatroom, something it happened some model joined too. My view was, girls in studio are like Superman, Spiderman or Batman, now let's talk with Clark Kent, Peter Parker or Bruce Wayne.

Every girl has her history, unique and different than all the others, so I don't want to judge if a comeback is a victory or a failure. It's their business, nothing more to say.

Everyone has best reasons to leave, to stay or to come back.

I just could move in or out them from the models page.

P.S. I hope for Naomi in the nightshow, otherwise I have to remove her.

Re: A few more topical SMSs

Just a few comments about some points:

<<< The viewer can not understand why a model can be scorching one day yet appear to have had a day release from a convent the next >>>
<<< The logic behind this is more simple than the acceptance of the reason >>>

I refer to nightshows. It's evident since the first minutes if a show will be hot or cold, and many times it is independent from the girls involved
(many girls can be employed both in soft and hot way).
We can understand this observing many factors: girls' behaviour, camerawork, videomixer, directors who don't impose the girls to perform stupid drama-actions ...
So, the simple logic I read behind this is that not all liveshows have the same purpose.
Hot shows have the aim to keep the interest of the viewers, who are often sick to see hours and hours of nothing-shows.
But this is what I always affirmed: if the same girls can perform a hot show today and a boring no-show tomorrow, it means that the viewers who call and send vipsmss have very little power to influence the show.
This is the 'original sin' of the new course of this TV (and a demostration of lack of respect towards people spending money)
-----------------

<<< No one knows why they work there. No one really knows why they leave. And no one really knows why they come back >>>

I have no answer to all these question, but I have a answer to the last one:
I don't know other jobs where you are allowed to spend so many hours doing nothing (fortunately some girls don't follow this behaviour)
-----------------

<<< So any return is not a victory. It is the realisation of the defeat...>>>

In my opinion the secret for a good result in every work: to do what you like.
This is not possible for everybody, but surely it makes a very great difference.
If a girl returns because she likes this job (in its original version, not the 2009 evolution ... and I don't refer to the daily rules), then I don't think it's a defeat, neither for her nor for the customers.
Completely different is the case of many girls who return (or are employed for the first time) because they see in this job the easiest way for "money for nothing".
This is a real defeat for them and for the viewers.
