Re: How to record Streams?!

Been a bit bored and randomly tried coming up with stuff in rtmpdump, I'm new to all of this. I get a connection closed error. Any ideas?

rtmpdump -r "rtmp://ss1.firestormmedia.tv/studio66tv" -a "studio66tv/" -f "WIN 32,0,0,171" -W "https://www.rampant.tv/player/flash/player/player.swf?" -p "https://www.rampant.tv/channel/345/Evelyn" -C S:d2hhdFdvdWxkUGhpbERv -y "studio66tv_channel1_1" -o s66.flv

Re: How to record Streams?!

Hello guys,
does anybody know, how to record HTML5 streams? I usually use ReplayMediaCatcher, but for a few weeks it doesn't work anymore on SeventeenLive.com. I'm not a Pro in HTML, but I found out that they obviously use now a HTML5 player called "nanoplayer" from nanocosmos - but I'm not sure. Definitely none of my recording-tools can catch the stream.

Has anybody an idea?
Thanks in advance!

Re: How to record Streams?!

The recorder I have used for quite a while now is ZD recorder [hidden link - please register]
The programme records anything streaming by recording direct from the screen.
As yet I have not found anything it can't record its free to try and quite cheap to buy.
Plus when you do buy it is forever not on subscription Thumb up

Re: How to record Streams?!

RLC now has 2 channels Big Grin

I am sure that most members already know the rtmp code for Stream 1 but I will post it along with Stream 2.

RLC - Stream 1
rtmpdump -r "rtmp://publish.firestormmedia.tv:1935/rlc/_definst_/livestream1" -f "WIN 25,0,0,171" -W "http://iptv.firestormmedia.tv/flash/player/player.swf" --live -y "livestream1" -o RLC1.flv

RLC - Stream 2
rtmpdump -r "rtmp://publish.firestormmedia.tv:1935/rlc/_definst_/livestream_two1" -f "WIN 25,0,0,171" -W "http://iptv.firestormmedia.tv/flash/player/player.swf" --live -y "livestream_two1" -o RLC2.flv

Re: How to record Streams?!

as far as a iknow real merdia catcher and jaksta still picked up the streams.
but its a moot point atm as rampant switched back to flash yesterday...
seems there new player wasnt as secure as they hoped.

this player is incompatible with rtmpdump from what i can tell and vlc throws up error 403 forbidden (the links connect but the server rejects the connection due to failed authentication)
dont be surprised if s66 and babestation follow suite over the next little while. Sad

do you know of any software we could use to record html5 player ?

Re: How to record Streams?!

guys if your using my playlist in vlc you have to save the .m3u as ansi if it fails to load the list open it in notepand and save as utf-8
pot player isnt so finicky about the files saved format.
[hidden link - please register] but isnt as easy to use as it has a lot more options to wade through.
and recording can be a pain in the ass as it seems to forget your last save location until you confirm it again.

there is also simple tv
[hidden link - please register]
it takes a little patience to setup but it is 1 of the better ways to record the streams as it allows automation but again isnt the easiest to use.
and dont forget if you just wanna watch then theres kodi

as for rtmp links. they may not last much longer. rampant have recently abandoned flash in favour of an html5 player.

Re: RTMPdump codes

I haven't used VLC for a good year or so now, and I too cannot get the .m3u file to work via VLC.
Unfortunately I know nothing about RTMP dump codes.
I have moved onto PotPlayer, and find this a very good player to view and record the babechannels. Uses less CPU as well.
Not sure if I can post a link to a third party app, but Google will find it for you.

But just to confirm, those amendments to Hexit's original file list, do work in PotPlayer, watching now.

Hope you manage to sort it. Smile

Thank you very much, but I don't think they work--or at least I don't know how to make them work with RTMPdump.
They don't even play on VLC Tongue
Please, could you help me once more? Smile
