Stream 3 working for me, but thats the only one. happening both on studio66 site and via rampart tv

Some positive changes for the three Studio 66-channels on the 11390V-Transponder - finally...
 The videoquality of the Studio66-channels on the 11390V-transponder was very, very poor, because there are simply too many channels on this transponder and variable bitrates can't do wonders. The videoquality of Studio 66 decreased from excellent to piss-poor (imho) and a nearly unwatchable level which causes headaches when you watch it on larger screens. Extremely blocky and blurry, MPEG2 compression-artifacts all over the screen - simply horrible and sadly even worse for RLC because they are also on the same transponder and have lowered the bitrates even more... Well, today Studio 66 has made at least a step in the right direction (for a change). The bitrates are +/- the same than before (too low), but at least they have removed the large onscreen-graphics on the right side of the screen. The main problem with the Studio66 onscreen-graphics were that they were constantly animated, moving & flashing in every second and that needs bitrate - plenty of bitrate. I guess one third of the bitrate (maybe even more) was used only for the onscreen-graphics. It wasn't a problem before, because there was enough bitrate available for the channels, but on the 11390V-transponder the OSG's "ruined" the videoquality completely. I hope Mauro forgives me when I use one of his screenshots to illustrate the difference (haven't recorded a single second from the 11390-transponder till today): Before: [hidden link - please register] Today: (taken with ffmpeg -deinterlace -s 704x396 -qscale 0) [hidden link - please register] [hidden link - please register] I'm quite sure the difference should be very noticeable for everybody! Unbelievable, so much quality wasted only because of the annoying onscreen-graphics...  It's by far not the technical quality Studio 66 had before, but it's clearly better, much more watchable and that deserves at least a

is s66 under new management or is the lack of competition allowing them to be sloppy. there are alternative ways of cost cutting.
i always thought 9-10pm would be an important slot but s66 are now at the point of refusing to acknowledge its existence on the clock. dunno whats going on up there but something majorly needs to change. the loss of dionne daniels, sophia knight etc was a huge blow for s66 but they are compounding it with errors which could be beyond repair for the supposed "elite" show. s66 needs to re-brand back to elite tv and have a complete change of attack regarding the quality of its output. at present, the 4th channel is being filmed from an old folks home and streams 1-3 are off at peak times. somebody needs a good throttling at the top of the managerial ladder. |

I've just checked my recordings for the night and all I see is Clare and JenniferJ. Mica first appeared around 11:45pm on stream1 but hasn't been on since. And Jenna Hoskins is apparently on as well. Stream3 has been broadcasting the logo since 10:30pm. Anyone having the same issue?

On £ky they have now changed the EPG of Studio 66 4 on channel 927 to "Play TV", this is the channel that uses older models, Golden Girls TV.
Play TV days is now showing Sarah Matty on and she is on S66 2 also, seems only the nights for now will be used separate. |

The site was dead for me last night as i got an error message, right now i get on site and all 3 streams i just get the circle, btw thats tested through 2 browsers.
